Duct systems and fans
Dust, chips, or other process waste is conveyed in an individually layouted duct system. The type of material (steel, stainless steel, aluminium or plastic) and the thickness are adapted to the conveyed material being. Radial fans provide the necessary negative pressure in order to create the conveying current. They can convey the extracted material directly (transport fans) or be positioned on the clean air side behind the separator systems (clean air fans).
Injector systems are used for specialized applications such as transportation of edge trim or the conveying of granules and pellets.
In order to achieve reliable operation and economical conveying speeds, duct dimension and fan parameters need to be well balanced.
